S4E15: Clear Roads

There is still awkwardness between Jay and Kylie and Ambridge. But one day, after stopping early, to go hunting and have a real, fresh dinner, Ambridge and Jay hash things out. Ambridge and Kylie also spot another dying shrieker which makes them question what those things actually eat.

They are really close to California now.

After exploring the house to make sure it's vacant, they sit at the dinner table and share past experiences with family. It seems like they may actually have a comfortable night in store. That is, until a mysterious figure knocks on the front door.

Ava and Mark are unable to escape the encroaching fire. Smoke fills the woods causing their horse to panic. Ava and Mark soon find themselves separated from each other after a near-fatal fall. After their bout with a malnourished bear, Ava and Mark pack their things and search for the missing horses. Eventually they stumble upon Blue, grazing. They now have transport out of the woods, but things may not be that easy. When Ava and Mark find a large convoy of people heading north, they discover the forest may still hold some not-so-nice surprises.

S3E18: What Once Was

Here it is! The Season 3 finale!!

Ambridge is enjoying his stay at the quarantine zone. He's been helping Mia and Roger gather supplies and move people back, deeper into the woods. But this has left Jay on his own. Jay's been preparing for life on the road, but he still needs a car if he plans on making it all the way to California. After listening to another one of Preacher Smith's rants, Jay gets a crazy idea.

Mark is furious to find that Stephanie has left Ava behind, even though she claims Ava told her to. Mark wants to go back for her, but because it's dark and Madison has been bitten, Stephanie refuses. But that doesn't stop Mark, who takes matters into his own hands.

This causes Mark to panic. He can no longer sit around and wait...
