Today's abbreviated program includes a brief look at some of the items in Spanish news these days. The Supreme Court continues to investigate the financial affairs of former King Juan Carlos I, who has been living in the United Arab Emirates since last August. Spain's parliament votes against opening an investigating committee into the former King and Head of State. It does however approve a bill on euthanasia which must go through the Senate before it can become law. A large number of retired military officers share the language of the extreme right and speak of "shooting 26 million" people in Spain.
